Tanzany Wacky Marketing Example #1

I love this marketing campaign for Savannah Dry, an alcoholic cider drink in Tanzania.  These signs are all over the Masaki penninsula — about as prevalent as Budweiser signs in the US.  What I particularly love is that the tagline to me seems to apologize for the product.

It also sounds to me like a housekeeping tip (“Bleach — it’s dry, but you can drink it”) or a section in a desert survival manual (“If you run out of water in the desert, you can survive a few more hours by drinking your own urine.  It’s dry, but …”)
